PCEA Chogoria Hospital, in partnership with Ohana One International, successfully conducted a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Screening Clinic on Sunday and Monday, bringing specialized surgical assessment and consultation closer to patients who needed reconstructive care.
The clinic provided an important opportunity for patients to receive professional evaluation and guidance for a wide range of conditions requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery. Patients were screened and assessed for conditions including cleft lip and palate, ear and lip reconstruction needs, post-burn scars, nerve injuries, lumps and swellings, congenital birth defects, lymphedema, and breast and nipple reconstruction.
Beyond the medical assessments, the clinic offered patients and their families renewed hope by helping them understand the treatment options available to improve function, appearance, confidence, and quality of life.
