Clive Irvine College of health sciences

Clive Irvine College of health sciences was established with a vision of becoming the college of choice in training of globally competitive health professionals. The college is located in the Eastern slopes of Mount Kenya, Tharaka Nithi County within PCEA Chogoria Hospital, a serene environment conducive for learning.
The college was established in 1951 and has trained many globally competitive and competent nurses. We have the accolades of having been one of the pioneer colleges to train health care professionals who have served our nation diligently. We also proud to have trained many nurses currently working overseas.
Our college is recognized as a middle level college by the ministry of education and is accredited by the Nursing council of Kenya and Technical and Vocation Education and Training Authority (TVETA). All our academic programs have been approved by the relevant statutory bodies.
We provide meals and spacious self-contained Accommodation facilities with hot showers and reading space. Day schooling option is also acceptable.

Education financing

Needy students are encouraged to apply HELB loan (afya Elimu Loan Option), CDF&County government bursaries and also the College bursary Fund (application form can be downloaded from our website)
