CICHS offers Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology which is a 2-years specialized program that trains students to assist in surgical procedures and manage operating theatre environments. The course covers areas such as surgical instrumentation, sterilization techniques, patient preparation, anesthesia support, infection control, and post-operative care. Perioperative theatre technologists work alongside surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses to maintain a sterile environment, assist in surgical procedures, and ensure patient safety before, during, and after surgery. The mode of delivery involves lectures, skills laboratory demonstrations, OSCEs and clinical rotations, majorly operation theatre.
