Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN)
The Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) course is a diploma-level nursing program designed to equip students with knowledge, skills and attitude in preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare at the community and hospital levels. The students undergo training for 3 (three) years to prepare them to become global nurses. CICHS over the years has produced global nurses and continues nurture others through classroom lectures, skills laboratory practical sessions, clinical rotations and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
Admission Requirements
Those interested in pursuing a Diploma in Nursing MUST meet the below requirements:
KCSE mean grade of C Plain and above or its equivalent
C Plain in English or Kiswahili
C Plain in Biology or Biological Sciences
C – ( minus) in any of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Sciences
